It depends on the destination country, document type, and receiving authority. An apostille is an authentication step separate from translation. Some authorities require it; others do not.

When requesting a quote, tell us the destination authority and intended use. We will advise on whether apostille, notarisation, or consular legalisation may be required.

A certified translation includes a statement confirming the translation is accurate and complete. A notarised translation adds a notarial step confirming the identity/signature of the certifying party, depending on jurisdiction.

Some authorities accept certified translation alone. Others require notarisation or additional legalisation. LTF will advise during the quote stage.

Standard documents are typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours. Larger, technical, certified, or complex projects are scoped with a clear timeline before work begins.

Yes. If the delivered translation contains an inaccuracy or does not reflect the original document correctly, LTF will revise it at no additional charge.

If a request reflects a new instruction, formatting preference, terminology change, or scope addition, we will advise whether it can be handled as a revision or requires a separate update.

LTF applies strict document-handling protocols. Documents are shared only with the assigned translator, reviewer, and project contact required to complete the work.

Human translation and specialist review are performed within a controlled workflow. For institutional and government clients, LTF can provide or review NDA documentation before work begins.

After delivery, access to client documents is limited according to project requirements. Documents are not used for unrelated purposes, training, marketing, or external sharing.

If your organisation requires formal deletion or a specific retention protocol after delivery, tell us at the quote stage so this can be included in the project arrangement.

Pricing depends on document volume, subject complexity, certification requirements, formatting needs, urgency, and whether specialist review is required.

LTF does not publish a generic rate card because a one-page certificate, a 60-page contract, a financial prospectus, and a technical energy agreement require different workflows.

No. Once the scope is confirmed and you approve the quote, the agreed price covers the defined scope of work.

If new pages, new instructions, urgent changes, additional certification steps, or extra formatting requirements are added later, we will advise before proceeding.

Yes. A minimum charge may apply to reflect project intake, assignment, review, certification handling where relevant, and delivery. This also applies to short certified documents.
